Monolithic construing
Monolithic construing was a term introduced by Mahklouf-Norris, Jones, and Norris (1970) to denote a large group of highly intercorrelated constructs in a repertory grid. It has come to be generally associated with high levels of cognitive simplicity (as opposed to cognitive complexity) in grids overall although the original study distinguished between the two.
