Edinburgh University’s Pollock Halls Campus

Situated beside Holyrood Park with Arthur’s Seat as the backdrop, Edinburgh University’s Pollock Halls Campus provides the location for EPCA 2018.

The campus is easily accessible (http://www.edinburghfirst.co.uk/getting-here/ ) from both Edinburgh airport / Waverly railway station and is within easy walking distance of the centre of town, allowing delegates to explore Edinburgh and easily find somewhere to eat in the evening.

The John McIntyre Conference Centre

The conference itself will be held in the purpose built John McIntyre Conference Centre:

and

The campus’s South Hall

The Gala Ceilidh Buffet will be held in the campus’s South Hall, which was built for the 1970 Commonwealth Games.

Leisure

The Royal Commonwealth Pool

Another legacy from the 1970 Commonwealth Games, next door to the campus is the Royal Commonwealth Pool, which has a full size pool and gym, and is open for people to use for the relevant fee.
Holyrood Park

For those wanting to run during their stay, Holyrood Park, as noted above, is right beside the campus and provides an ideal place to run and look out across Edinburgh
